Community Leader Track
Mankind Project British Columbia recognizes and supports men who donate their time, passion, and vision to build strong communities of evolving mature men by creating this program track.
The Community Leadership Track provides both recognition to those who show up and do the essential work to keep our project going and creates opportunities for further leadership and personal growth.
Men who are drawn to creating community or who want to join our community of creative leaders in big or small ways are invited to participate in the ManKind Project Community Leader Track. All that is required initially is for you to help out with 2 events a year.
In addition, a man must be a member in good standing of MKP BC, and either apply for participation or be nominated by a member of his community.
Principles
- Recognition and respect for work performed and community love offered.
- Fair pay for assuming the burden of leadership.
- Embrace of Community Leadership as equal to MKP’s other three tracks.
- Caring and mentorship.
Energies embodied
- Nurturing, caring, growing. The Below.
- Action, Engagement, Inclusion. The Above.
