What is MKP?
ManKind Project (MKP) is a non-profit that supports a global network of over 1,000 peer-facilitated men’s groups serving close to 10,000 men each week. We have over a dozen men’s groups across British Columbia.
What we do
MKP empowers men to missions of service, supporting men to make a difference in the lives of others through men’s groups, the New Warrior Adventure Training, and more.
Who is welcome?
We help any men through any transition, facing almost any challenge:
- All faiths and no faith are welcome.
- All backgrounds, orientations, ages, and abilities are welcome.
- All men are welcome.
Upcoming New Warrior Adventure Trainings
British Columbia
The New Warrior Training Adventure is a modern-day initiation and self-examination for all those identifying as male. We believe that this is crucial to the development of a healthy and mature male self, no matter how old a man is.
Diversity Acknowledgement
The ManKind Project of British Columbia acknowledges that it used Indigenous medicines, ceremonies, traditions and symbols in our training without recognition, honouring or acknowledgement.
As the ManKind Project of British Columbia becomes more aware of this appropriation, we recognize the negative impacts of our actions and inaction.
The ManKind Project of British Columbia acknowledges the painful impact this has caused to Indigenous Peoples both within and outside the organization. We are deeply sorry for this impact.
The ManKind Project of British Columbia continues to work with Canadian Indigenous Peoples to appropriately adjust training processes as well as to incorporate acknowledgment, recognition, respect, and gratitude in a good way.
